Christmas and New Year

Just a short blog to keep in contact now that are back in England for a couple of weeks. We now have over 70 people viewing our blog. We are very pleased at the response we have received to our blog which makes the effort of writing it worthwhile. Many of those who viewed our blog and whom we saw over the Christmas period asked us to 'Keep blogging'. We were not sure whether to make an entry for Christmas and New Year or not as it is not about our travels, but both Jacqui and I felt that we need to say a big thank you to all the family and friends who not only gave us a bed over the festive season but also seemed very interested in our adventures. To you a BIG THANK YOU!
We also attended the 30th, by my reckoning, annual friends get-together for this New Year's celebrations at Machynlleth.  With great planning and organisation by Clare,  32 of us stayed at the famous "Centre for Alternative Technology" in the Eco cabins that are on site. We had the whole place to ourselves which proved to be great fun for both adults and kids despite the appalling wet weather and local flooding.  But we cant wait to get back on our travels now to find some sun.
